Lovely all around is this lavender dress of cotton and eyelet.  Lovely fabric design, weight, color and lightly dusted with lovely glitter - the perfect little dolly dress for spring and summer. The bodice is fully lined, the full skirt is hand hemmed, the back has a complete back opening, velcro closure and secured bow.  I also made a matching fabric covered plastic head band and custom embellished the sandals. If you desire, I will be happy to make your dolly a tulle underskirt to fluff out that beautiful full skirt for an extra $5.00.

An updated theme on a typical 50's dress for Kit is what this post is all about.  Any little dolly will love this full skirted cotton dress, lined bodice of course, with such colorful owls roosting about.  Kit's half slip is also cotton with eyelet trim at the hem and an elastic waist.  Her dress has a full opening in the back for easy dressing and a velcro closure with secured bow.

Easter in the Pink

Sandy just loves her new dress made of a cute little cotton Easter print that was given to me by a dear friend.  The attractive sweetheart neckline and well situated shoulder straps from a pattern by Liberty Jane are perfect for this spring outfit.  The bodice and waist treatment are lined; the back has a full opening and velcro closure.  As Sandy will tell you, a nice hair band on these breezy spring days is a great help, so I made her one of fabric covered plastic.  Pink shiny patent-look  bow pumps complete an Easter ensemble.

Owls for Spring

My R&D department tells me that owls are still a very popular theme.  I guess so, since I have no problem finding lots of cute owly prints.  This particular cotton print has a very interesting color palate.  I chose the delicate aqua shades and put them together with my new favorite pattern from Pixie Fair to make this super, cap-sleeve dress.  Lydia is enjoying the spring weather in aqua and brown pin dot paired with the owls.  Her dress has a full back opening with velcro closure. matching hair band of fabric covered plastic and glittery ivory shoes custom trimmed with aqua flower appliques.

Cece is just brimming with excitement to show off this new chevron style.  This 100% cotton sleeveless dress has a lined bodice, full back opening with a velcro closure, soutache trim at the waist and delicate grey buttons to grace the yoke. Cece is also wearing a creamy yellow hair band and custom designed shoes to match.

Stylish Chevron Dress

New Trend

My girls asked me to find some cute chevron prints for them because chevron is the latest trend.  Personally, I'm a dots and plaid kind of girl, but I did see some chevrons I could work with, so here is a really cute pattern by Melody Valerie Couture made up in a fresh pink and black chevron.

The dress sports an A-line skirt, darted cap sleeves and full back opening with a velcro closure.  The unattached  black satin ribbon at the waist has a fixed bow and velcro closure. To compliment her dress, Audrey chose a black faceted glass beaded necklace and bracelet.  The jewelry is on stretchy mono-filament; the necklace has a lobster clasp. Black velvet strap pumps by Sophia's® are also included.
