For the fun loving dolls among you who want that special look - Nellie is the go-to girl!  She is wearing her skirt fluffy on the outside to give it a great spunky look for not only holiday parties, but the winter long. The skirt is made of a wonderful polyester taffeta woven plaid - and yes to you imaginative little girls - it can be worn reversed.  Cool - right? This special dress will be a treat for your My Twinn dolly.  the bodice is cranberry taffeta and the skirt is a woven cotton and rayon mix plaid in understated Christmas colors.  Black taffeta piping , buttons and polyester satin ribbon trim the seams and ruffling. Flair for the Season

The simply beautiful lines of this dress based on a "Bunny Bear" pattern are incomparable for making the most of this stunning fabric. Cotton with a gilt print gives this dress the body for a beautiful flare at the hemline.  I made a tulle underskirt to show off the skirt's fulness.  The sleeves and neckline are bound with poly satin and the trim is gold wrapped cording. Velcro closes the back.  To accessorize the dress I added a fabric and trim covered headband , gold beaded bracelet and gold pumps.

Golden Holiday

Lydia was visiting at the store for the past few weeks, but she's back home for the holiday and wanted to be the girl to show you this elegant dress.  The skirt sparkles with gold flecks and the bodice is antique gold polyester.  The dress opens completely down the back with a velcro closure. To compliment the dress, Ruthie helped us pick out the perfect pumps and I made a hair band of antique gold to match.

Skate Away!

Isn't Sandy the happy girl!  I just finished knitting her sweater and sewing a skirt to match and she is already out waiting for the ice.  This skate set starts out with an ice blue hand knitted sweater, with a back velcro closure and appliqued snow flakes.  It features a fluffy yarn border that extends down the back - the sweater can actually be worn in reverse for a different look in the spring.  The flared skirt is made of panné, has a net underskirt and elastic waist.  To give this set a really stunning finish, blue fur trimmed ice skates are included.

Baby Sister Fun

I know sisters love to have matching clothes, so here is a baby set that uses some of the same fabric that the My Twinn set has.  This 15" Bitty Baby (also fits toddler dolls) is wearing a flannel jumper pants set with contrast cuffs to match the puff sleeve  broadcloth blouse.  The blouse is lined and has a back velcro closure.   the straps to the jumper pants velcro in the elasticized back.  Just like big sis - baby has a hair band that is all elastic.  Beautiful matching shoes and ruffley socks and finishing touches for this holiday set.

Here is a lovely dress in a combination of taffeta and flannel to bring in the holidays.  The fully lined taffeta bodice has a back velcro closure and finished banded puff sleeves.  The hand hemed skirt is fluffed with a net underskirt and has a removable bow at the back.  A matching  fabric covered plastic hair band completes this set for a lucky My Twinn or other 23 inch doll.

Here is the jumper and set I made for Chatty Cathy.  Jumper is flannel, the underskirt is polyester sheath lining, the panties matching broadcloth and the blouse is 100% cotton,  Her jumper and blouse have back velcro closures. The panties and slip have elastic waist bands.

Nellie is very pleased to show you this up dated classic of pleated skirt, bolero jacket, and peasant style blouse. The light weight woven plaid wrap skirt and shoulder bag feature a fringed hem  finish.  A soft head band with Velcro fastening also matches the skirt and bag. The blouse has a full back opening with Velcro fastening. A cropped fleece bolero jacket finishes the ensemble.

The one Mari is wearing is 100% cotton, has a back velcro closure and is embellished with lots of things little dollies love, like bows, pastel lace and beads. Be-Witching Look

It's one of my favorite sewing seasons of the year - Halloween!  So much fun to be had! This week, I'm dressing my dollys in candy corn  cotton print skirts and rakish floppy brimmed witch hats. To add even more fun to the mix, satin gingham checked tops match the ruffles on the skirts. Finishing the outfits are striped tights, black shoes and of course, a Halloween mask.

Lydia is wearing her kicky skirt to school today too!  The camera was too shy to capture the intense hot pink color of the ruffled trim on this skirt! But believe me, any dolly will twirl down the halls in this full tiered skirt and gem dotted top. What a fun set to wear to school!  Rita loves this light, silky top that matches the ruffles on her kicky skirt and closes in the back with velcro.  The zebra print on the  elastic waisted skirt is 100% cotton, and the salmon top and ruffles are polyester.  The top has a touch of bling at the color and the skirt had a button and ruffle detail.

Snoozin' Doggie

It's that time of the year when Josephina and every other dolly wants some nice comfortable togs to snuggle up in. These 100% cotton flannel pants are roomy and warm, while the cotton knit cami top is great for under sweats or on it's own.  The pants are pull up with an elastic waist, the top has a closure with velcro.  I stenciled the Scottie dog on the top with permanent dye so it should launder just fine.  Also included are an elastic head band and fuzzy slippers for $19.00

I love sewing quality fall fabric prints, and this one is both cute and bright. Coupled with a pin dot, this outfit will be one of your dolly's favorites!  Both the skirt and top are 100% cotton.  The skirt features an apple applique (Thanks, Linda) and pin dot piping in a practical elastic waist. A lady bug button on organdy ribbon, elastic sleeves and a back velcro closure make a great blouse to go with not only this skirt, but with jeans or black capris. Finally, I covered a plastic head band with matching pin dot fabric, and added an organdy waist ribbon with a secured bow at the back (Which can double as a headband for those imaginative fashionistas.)  Red and black suede shoes are the finishing touch.

Here is a dress to brighten up your dolly's fall and back to school wardrobe. The100% cotton floral print in bright yellow, green and hot pink features a fully lined bodice with a back tie and velcro closure, puff banded sleeves, and a full skirt. Hot pink pin dot grosgrain ribbon on the bodice matches the hair tie.  Small yellow bows on white eyelet shoes match the color of the dress.

Ready for those fun back to school study sessions, Chrissie wanted to show her new pachyderm casuals to all her friends.  Great as pj's, or study duds, the flannel pants have an easy elastic waist; the cotton knit cami top has a matching elephant applique and back snap closure. We couldn't resist covering a plastic head band with the snugly elephants, and making a big removable tie to be spunky .

Bloomin' Sunflowers

Ruthie loves a pretty hat, so you can imagine her joy when it was her turn to be model of the day for this vibrant set. The black background with intense yellow print sunflowers on 100% cotton is the perfect fabric for this full skirted sleeveless dress with a polyester grosgrain band in the front.  The bodice is lined and closed in the back with velcro. Sunflower appliques highlight the ribbon waistband and tops of the black pumps.  Ruthie's hand bag is lined and has a silk sunflower & bee attached to the face. The fabulous straw hat fits generously and is trimmed with black satin band, organza bows, silk sunflowers and little plastic bees.
