With the warmer weather starting to dot the USA, your dolly will be looking for some light weight clothing to enjoy during the hot months ahead. Kites to Play In

This breezy dress is made of excellent light weight fabric for a sundress of sky blue cotton with scattered kites,  their bright tails fluttering. I detailed the ruffled trim with woven blue gingham piping and bows.  Amelia's sundresses closes in the back with velcro, and a secured bow.  Her shrug is white pique lined with blue gingham showing in the tiny lapels. Interchangeable bows of gingham and the kite print clip into the white pique covered plastic hairband.  Amie's shoes are white patent look with a velcro strap and roses on the vamp.

A Little Bit of Lovely

Lydia wants you to know that you really don't have to buy this dress.  She will be very happy to keep wearing it for a while!  I liked the fabric the minute I saw it, and was glad to see it turn out so well.  The weight of the mossy green, magic wand cotton print is well suited to the full hand hemmed skirt.  White grosgrain polyester ribbon is at the waist of the lined bodice.  There is a back velcro closure and secured bow.  What really sets this dress off is the removable white shawl collar with eyelet trim.   I made a very versatile elastic hair band that can double as a scrunchie too. Bright pink dotty pumps are the finishing touch.

Leave it to Amelia to pick out one of our cutest sets to show you!   She has on a floral print cotton seersucker, short cut tank top with an eyelet neck ruffle and back velcro opening.   Her hip rise cut-off pants are cotton -poly weavers cloth with a sewn in cuff, elastic waist, belt loops and ribbon tie.  Amie really loves her foam platform surf sandals by Sophia's® in bright pink.

Oh! Yum! This little sundress is as sweet as it looks.  The simplicity of pattern design is a great compliment to the cotton fabric cup cake print shown off by the flared circle skirt.  The tie shouldered bodice is lined with polyester woven gingham, and closes in the back with velcro.  To give the skirt even more flair, I've included a polyester taffeta half-slip with lace trim and elastic waist. Meggie is feeling every inch the young princess in this very elegant party dress. This exquisite, heavy weight fabric is polyester  brocade  done in pink on pink woven in blossoms.  The bodice is lined with polyester taffeta, and a separate half-slip is made of the same fabric with an elastic waist, edged in wide lace to add that special touch. Sheer polyester ribbon graces the midriff and hemline. The back has a full opening and velcro closure with secured bow at the waist.  A very lucky dolly will be so happy that her little girl has this dress for them to enjoy.

Striped to perfection

This delicately colored sundress and shrug is simply pretty!  Mari is showing you a pastel striped cotton sundress in a very nice quality  fabric.  Of course, the bodice is lined and closes in the back with velcro.  A full opening makes this and all garments I make easy to change for children and adults alike. To provide a little sun shade, I made a lined lavender shrug to compliment the stripes and rickrack.  Also featured with the set are a self fabric covered plastic hair band, butterfly beads and white patent-look bow pumps.

Nellie loves fun prints on her dresses - this snappy sundress is one of her favorites, and is going to be one of yours too.  Happy turtles frolic on a bright blue background highlighted by orange bias and little turtle buttons with beaded shells lined up to have fun at the midriff. Play Time!

With such nice weather lately, the dollies have all be anxious to get out and play.  Jessie is sporting a pair of light weight white linen-look capris with an elastic waist and bee buttons at the hemline.  Her tank top is reversible from a bright blue with huge daisies to red with a scattered daisy print.  The bees on capris like either side! To accessorize her outfit, Jess is wearing red sandals and a white clippie bow. The top closes in the back with velcro.

Crisp and Neat

I love polka dots! This fabric grabbed my attention as soon as I saw it, and I'm not even a big fan of the purple  section of the color wheel. I made this wonderful cotton up in a strapped sundress with  a self fabric tie, white piping and a back velcro closure. The dress is hand hemmed, and the bodice is lined.  To compliment the simple clean line of the dress, I made a white cotton pique lined shrug.  Lydia insisted on the hat and of course, we had to add the new open toe orchid pumps.

Colors for Spring

Lydia is very pleased to show you this briskly colored dress of navy blue, lime green and lemony yellow floral print on a crisp white back ground of cotton and poly blend. You'll love the very full, hand hemmed skirt, and fluffy secure bow at the back which is closed with velcro.  I covered the plastic headband with fabric to match the skirt, but could adjust that to any of the other fabrics on the dress if you so choose - just let me know. Sprightly lime green shoes match the lined bodice of the dress.

Jaunty hat to match a Cheery dress

This is a hat to match the dress recently posted since some interested parties wanted no hat or a separate hat.  Even as a little girl I loved hats on my dolls, as my mom could tell you.  My Ginny dolls all had wonderful hats thanks to my mom who helped me love my dolls. This hat is straw and fits most 18" dolls very well, but not the Springfield dolls or slim dolls with smaller heads.
