Zoe is ready for fun in this summer short set.  The cool halter top is 100% cotton, closes in the back with velcro and is trimmed with rick rack and buttons.  The shorts are seersucker stripes of yellow and white, with sewn in cuffs, and an elastic waist. Elegant top and Capris for slim 18" dolls

In this outfit, fabric and style come together to make a truly stunning look. The capris are red polyester twill, printed with tiny black pin dots. They have an elastic waist, fitted leg, and calf split.  The fabric print for the top is 100 % cotton, black with red flowers.  The top pattern features a lined, gathered bodice, shaped skirt, and small puff, gathered sleeves with elastic near the hemline.  I covered a plastic hair band with the poly twill of the capris.

Versatility for 18" dolls

Sometime, an outfit takes control!  What started out as a "Let's see how this pattern works," turned out to be a really cute and flexible set for both slim and AG dolls.  I found a casual print of woven polyester that had complimentary blue touches.  The top has not only a full velcro closure at the back, but also an adjustable ribbon tie at the neck and elastic sleeves.  Because of the neckline, the top also fits the American Girl size doll as Sandy is all too happy  to show you.  I had a pattern from "Liberty Jane" that I was really eager to try, that flowered fabric was so nice to work with, and I couldn't stop myself.  So, here is also a flirty ruffled skirt with an elastic waist to go with the top to make a two-piece dress, if you like.  The skirt also fits either size doll.... how convenient!  

This great little set is $21.00 for the top, skirt, waist ribbon and the shoes by Sophia's®.  But the shoes are a little loose on the Carpatina dolls.Let me know if you prefer not to buy the shoes.

If your dolly's closet is looking a little tired, spruce it up with this sweet addition.  Caris is wearing a traditional raised waist sundress with shoulder ruffles, and separate, ruffled under skirt which can be worn with other tops if desired.  The delicate, 100% cotton aqua floral print is fully lined, bodice and skirt.  Neckline flowers and trim at waist are of polyester with pearly centers. The back of the dress opens fully and has a velcro closure with secured bow.

Your dolly will feel like a fashion model in this great outfit that Sandi is wearing.  Brown and pink are the theme of the day from the check top to the flowered strap shoes.  The top has a back closure of velcro, fabric bow trim and  the fabric is a poly-cotton blend.  The pants are 100% polished cotton with an elastic waist and sewn in cuffs.  An all elastic hair band works great as a hairband, scrunchie, or hat band.   The ribbon hat is a soft construct.

A Bed of Posies

One of the more popular items in My Dolly's Closet® Store here in the heart of NC is bedding for the dolly beds customers own.  If your dolly is frustrated with the bedding that came with her bed, it's time you bought her bed some better clothes!

This particular set measures 10 1/2 x 20 1/2 x 1/2" for the mattress, 15 1/2 x 19 1/2" for the coverlet, 5 x 7" for the pillow, and 3" dia. for the toss pillow. The mattress is filled with high loft fused polyester batting, the coverlet is inner lined with flannel, and the pillows are filled with polyester batting - all hypoallergenic and child (and dolly) safe. This colorful bedding is made of 100%cotton, and trimmed with polyester rick rack, ribbon, buttons and beads. If you plan this bedding for a very small child's doll, I can replace the buttons and beads with appliques for safety reasons.

This delightful chick print will peep up your dolly's wardrobe with a smile.  The fabric is 100% cotton of a particularly fine weave, the rose applique is polyester.  Ruthie's dress features a full back opening and fastens with velcro, a lined bodice and hand hemmed skirt. The neckline and sleeve bands as well as the bodice are hand finished in a complimentary fabric of the same fine grade. I hope your dolly will love this sturdy little dress made of a very humorous print.  Along with the dress comes a fabric covered plastic hair band, and slip on pumps for $24.00.

A Bright Bit

This dress will bring a little of the Carolinas with it, as you enjoy the bright blues and sunny yellow reminiscent of the Carolina skies. Medium weight cotton broadcloth lends great body to the full, hand hemmed skirt and  lined bodice.  The back closure is velcro, the bow secured.  What little dolly wouldn't love that nice lacy shrug that can be worn with many tops to change up the look. I wrapped a plastic headband with matching fabric and Ruthie helped me find the ankle strap sandals by Sophia's ®.
