I really like the way this dress turned out.  A simple sleeveless dress of bias cut checks in a medium weight cotton will fill several wardrobe needs.  I used a  floating belt of woven trim red poppies, a red mesh tulle slip, red jewelry and hairband to accent this dress today, but you can choose your favorite color of ribbons or beads to give it a totally different look.  The dress is hand hemmed, has a full back opening, velcro closure and lined bodice.  The tulle slip has a polyester yoke and elastic waist.

Look at this sweet dress for a bright spring day!  Light weight cotton cupcakes and pindots will be perfect for an end of school dress for your dolly.  Based on a Pixie Faire pattern, this dress has a full back opening, velcro closure, secured bow and lined bodice.  I also made a fabric covered plastic hair band.  The metallic bow pumps from Sophia's® are a stunning match.

Warm Weather Ensemble

If your dolly is looking for a unique dress that will just set her apart - here is a treat for her!  This popular pink and black daisy print is styled into a full, hand hemmed skirt and bright ruffled bodice, which is fully lined.  The tulle underskirt closes in the back with velcro, and like the dress, also has a full back opening for ease of dressing.  The waist and head band accents are self fabric appliques that really set this outfit off. Put on your sunglasses, because this dress is really bright!  Cupcakes and sprinkles are the theme of this very warm weather cotton dress.  Based on a "Pixie Faire" pattern, this dress features a fully lined bodice, lined skirt with lime lace trim, a full back opening and velcro closure.  The polyester trim has a bit of it's own sparkle and is firmly attached. To complete this sprightly outfit, we chose a pair of lime green bow flats.
