An Outing Dress

Thanks to Linda, a good friend of mine for sharing her very wonderful pattern for the bodice and hat. The whimsical flowered fabric is perfect to set off the special touches of tie shouldered bodice and shaped brim on the hat. The cotton fabric is embellished with black polyester satin braid, and ribbon. The dress has a back velcro closing, tacked bow, and separate tulle underskirt with an elastic waist. there's a cute handbag to go with the outfit, and it too has a braid strap and tacked bow. Aren't the shoes perfect? They are by Sophia's®, and sport black ribbon rosettes on black patent leather-look ankle straps.

If I can get Meggie to part with it, this outfit costs $20.00 and includes the dress, hat, underskirt, handbag, and shoes.

Romping Boy's Picnic

Boy's picnic too, and Jerry is all ready to hit the picnic food. This romper is made of red solid and black check cotton-poly blend broadcloth with a back velcro closure. Sporty saddle shoes by Sophia's® and red socks finish off this play outfit sized for 15" Bitty Twins.

Picnic Time for Girls

The Twins arrived at my home last week, and have already made friends with all the resident 'Girls'. For her picnic outing, Debbie will wear this bright romper in red and check cotton-poly blend broadcloth. the back placket is closed with velcro and has elastic sleeves and pant legs. White patent shoes and white socks and hair bows complete the outfit. Like all sweet twins, Debbie is willing to share, and let Meggie try on her new suit. Yes - Meggie can romp with the best of the Bittys.

As you can see, the suit does fit the 18" dolls as well as the 15" Bitty Twins, or Bitty Babies - but I will caution that if you are buying it for an 18" doll to use, let me know and I will adjust the back placket a bit. Because of her longer arms, the romper was difficult to get on Meggie.

Bitty Twins Debut

I just had a pair of the Bitty Twins move in with me last week, so here they are in new outfits from the Doll Clothes Warehouse. I like the quailty of the garments the DCW produces and their prices are parent friendly. I bought a nice selection of matching sets to carry in the store, most running about $12.00 - shoes not included. This sailor set is made of cotton, both the girl's and boy's outfits are easy to dress and roomy enough not to present a challenge to young hands. Lavender Capri Set

Capri sets are so versatile; it’s no wonder that all my girls like wearing them. Jessie particularly likes lavender and is very happy to be the girl to show you these lace edged single knit capris and broadcloth top flowered of lavender toned flowers bedecked with beads. Both the lined top and bow embellished hair band have velcro closures. Matching lavender sandals are by Sophia’s®.

Jump To It

Ready to play? Sandy just moved in and was headed out to do some jump roping with the other girls when I snagged her to take pictures. Her play clothes are all made of cotton / polyester blend fabric so no ironing is needed to keep them neat looking. The slacks feature a banded waist and elastic pant legs so they’re easy to pull up out of the way for jumping or biking. There is no better way to keep cool than this polka dot top with tie neck and open elastic back. Purple sandals are by Sophia’s®, so you know they’re well made.
