Sunny Day Dress

Kit has a new dress, and true to her depression era the dress is simple but easily adapted to different looks. Her cotton sun dress features a 3 pleat skirt, and drop waist, sleeveless, lined bodice.  Girls of the era often had detachable collars to give one dress many looks.  Kit has a sailor collar, and a lined shrug to allow her to wear this dress several ways, as pictured.   White Mary Janes and cotton socks with a bit of lace complete the outfit.  Fortunately for your dolly, I used velcro to close the dress which has a full back opening, and the hair bow is on a clip so she will not have to re-tie it every time she wants to wear it. The very nice shoes have velcro straps.
