Holidays are open season on creativity, so I tried an idea that has been haunting my brain for a while - a kerchief skirt! Loretta was all for it, so we rummaged through the fabric until she found this print with witches, ghosts, and lots of scarey stuff of a soft cotton. When she tried the elastic waisted skirt on - we were both in love with the look. Ruthie our fashion officiando, helped her pick out some boots, and then we talked tops. A black polyester satin with holographic stars and confetti with taffeta lining won the discussion. We added a tulle ruffle with jet sparkles at neck and waist, velcro to close and voila - the perfectly witching set for Loretta to wear for Halloween parties.
Loretta wants me to make her a little black skirt to match the top so that she can wear it after Halloween for holiday get togethers. Interested? convo me, and maybe you and Loretta can convince me to take up the challenge.
