Plaid is Pretty

Get your dolly ready for fall and winter with this pretty little jumper and shirt.  The red based plaid fabric for the jumper is homespun cotton with a bit of polyester for body and resilience.  The bodice is completely lined, the full back opening has a velcro closure.  I also made a matching fabric covered plastic hair band to match the jumper.  I did not make the t-shirt, but it is of very good quality with a full back opening and velcro closure and a ruffle edged hem,

The jumper and headband are $16.  The t-shirt is $7.  If you would also like the saddle shoes and knee socks, they are$10.  The entire set is $30.00.  Please let me know if you would like me to change the post to include more than the jumper and headband.

Fall Designs

The delicate design and colors of this cotton fabric lend themselves nicely to the simple lines of this fall dress.  Nellie's dress is lined with poly sheath lining, has a full back opening and velcro closure.  Contrast soutache trim is polyester, and the tulle half-slip that peeks out, is also polyester.  Finally, I made a matching headband of fabric covered plastic.

A bit of Autumn

This dress is a great  answer to those warm fall days that are just around the corner.  With toasty color and an attached underskirt that echoes the yoke, your doll will be thrilled to have it in her closet.  The fabric for this dress is a cotton/poly blend and the lace is polyester.  There is a full back opening, velcro closure, separate tie for the waist, and matching hair band.  The adorable ivory shoes are by Sophia's® .

This little lady is all set to step out to school, shopping or Sunday worship in this heavenly blue dotted skirt and top with blue embroidered eyelet.  The cotton skirt is based on a pattern by Pixie Faire, while the lined cotton top is my personal design.  Speaking of the top, it has a full back opening and velcro closure.  The skirt has an elastic waist and attached tulle underskirt.  The matching hair band is fabric covered plastic.

As most my pals know - I love polka dots.  This skirt combines one of my hundred favorite colors,  one of my 30 favorite patterns, and .... polka dots, there fore  - I love this set!  The skirt is based on a pattern by Pixie Fair, I just added more flair to the flair.  It has an elastic waist and is made of cotton and poly tulle.  The top is a lined tank with eyelet neck ruffle, full back opening and velcro closure.

So Berry Cute

Delicate little strawberries are gently tossed on a minty green background of lightweight poly/cotton for this late summer or early fall dress. If the morning for back to school is a bit chilly, Lydia can pop on her berry matching shrug, made of cotton. The back of the dress features an adjustable tie and elastic pull up style. Sandals and a matching fabric over plastic hair band complete this ensemble.  This dress is based on a pattern by "Create Kids Couture" - and I just love it!

Daisy Delight

This spiffy little dress will carry your dolly's dress-up needs right through the end of summer and into early fall.  The bodice and skirt of Meggie's dress are fully lined with cotton batiste and the full back opening is closed with velcro.  Her yellow polka dot bodice is 100% cotton, while her skirt is polyester and has a light sheen to brighten up the pretty daisy print.  You will note that the fabric daisy at the waist on actually a clip barrette that slides into an attached bow for a special look.
