It's hard not to love a light cotton print at this time of the year.  Clean, bright, summery - this is the perfect dress to get the warm season off to a great start.  The bodice is lined, and the back closes with velcro and secure bow.  The wide matching head band is fabric covered plastic. I trimmed Nellie's dress in polyester pin dot ribbon and plastic lady bug buttons.  Creamy white patent look open toe pumps are just the right compliment.

Meet Tara, a slim body 18" doll by Mme. Alexander Kits & Kats dolls. She is showing you a cotton dress with a shoulder ruffle, butterfly bead and flat piping at the waist.  The cotton dress has a back velcro closure and full skirt.  To complete her outfit, Tara chose pink platform sandals.

I've recently been experimenting with some new styles for slim body 18" dolls such as Carpatina, Magic Attic, or Mme. Alexander, "Kids & Kats" Collectibles.The dolls have been very helpful and I have a couple more dresses to share.

 Here is Kohanna very happy to show you her new sprightly cotton sundress in a firework of colors.  This dress features a lined and fitted bodice with shoulder straps and a secured tie front, flared skirt with full back velcro closure. A matching fabric covered plastic headband is included.

It's been a while since Amelia had a chance to show you a dress, so here she is this evening with a very delicate dress of cotton, printed with checks and hopping bunnies.  The dress closes in the back with velcro and has cotton eyelet trim on the bodice. Matching Amelia's dress is a glorious hat bedecked with flowers and iridescent beads. Her shoes are a fantastic new offering of shiny metallic with an open toe design. Ruthie is so jealous!  What a great spring look!

Bright and Cheery!

A nice look for spring is this sundress with matching hat. The fabric is 100% cotton with an all-over scattered cherry print augmented with glittered cherry appliques. Ribbon trim at the waist and hemline is polyester. The dress closes in the back with velcro and a secure bow.  To complete the outfit, Nellie added shiny red, one buckle shoes.

Bunnies for Spring

Nothing says spring like bunnies and bright color. This sundress has both!  Lydia's dress is made of a cotton print and coordinating stripe whose colors dance with spring images. the bodice and waist band are full lined and it closes in the back with a velcro closure.  To accessorize the dress I covered a plastic head band with matching fabric and added light aqua shoes.

Cherry Spring

I've had a few requests to put my sewing needle to trying some clothes for the very beautiful Carpatina Dolls.  Having some limited experience with my daughters' Magic Attic dolls, and after listening to the nagging of my own Kohanna, Zoe and Tara - I took on the project.
Zoe is here this bright morning to show you my first successful cherry dress and shrug.  The dress has a fully lined bodice, and full back velcro closure with secured bow.  The fabric is 100% cotton, the ribbon trim is polyester.  Zoe's shrug is polyester taffeta.  To accessorize, Zoe added the white hat, detachable organdy ribbon band, and red patent-look  buckle shoes

Our cherry spring / summer dress, shrug, hat and shoes are $28.00.  If you prefer to order the garments separately: dress - $15, shrug - $4, shoes - $7, hat - $6. Although this dress doesn't require it, I can include a white half slip with lace at the hem for $5.  Let me know what you would like to include and I will adjust the listing accordingly.

Sandy is a smart chick in her lively spring print cotton sundress and shrug.  Her dress closes in the back with velcro and a secured bow. The yellow contrast ruffle is cotton organdy that matches the shrug.  White patent-look bow pumps and a hair bow clippie complete her outfit.

Thinking of Bunnies

Sandy and I are both so happy to be pulling the Spring and Easter fabric out of the box to decide what to make for the new season.  What a treasure-trove of lovely colors and textures!  We can't wait!  The first dress to come off the cutting table is our favorite print of delightful white bunnies on spring green and bright pink cotton fabric.  I chose a light raspberry organdy pin dot ribbon for trim and a clip hair bow, then made a light tulle slip to add a little fulness to the skirt.  This dress has a lined bodice, and closes in the back with velcro.  As you can imagine, Ruthie, our shoe fashionista, was waiting with the perfect shoes to match in the new, open toe metallic fashion.

This outfit includes the dress, slip, hair bow clip, and shoes for $25.00.  If you prefer the dress without the shoes (Though I don't know how you can pass up these cuties!)  convo me and I will change the posting be $8.00 lower.

Springy Shamrocks

Back by some very complimentary popular demand is a St. Pat's spring dress in a slightly different version then one I posted a couple weeks ago.  The dress that Mari is wearing is made of a cotton fabric sprinkled with delicate shamrocks and lightly glittered in gold.  Emerald green ribbon and shamrock button highlight the slightly raised waistline.  The grosgrain bow at the back is secured to stay in a perfect tie. Mari's dress closes in the back with velcro. A white hair bow and gold embossed shoes complete the outfit.

Lightly Shamrocked

If you and your dolly have not yet found the St. Pat's day dress - this is your lucky day.  Loretta is wearing a simply lovely dress of white cotton scattered with flowing shamrocks.  Given the graceful lines of this "Bunny Bear" inspired pattern, a simple satin ribbon bow at the waist is the only accessory this dress needs.  The waist ribbon is completely removable and can be worn with the bow in front, back, off side or not at all.  Loretta's dress is complimented with an elastic waist half slip of cotton edged with lace.  Her dress closes in the back with velcro.  To complete the outfit, I'm enclosing a fabric covered plastic hairband and black patent look bow pumps.

Dress, slip, hair band, and shoes can be in your dolly's closet for $26.00.  If you prefer not to purchase the shoes, please convo me and I will reduce the price of the dress by $6.00.
